Write a story from the point of view of an apple, sitting in a fruit basket on your kitchen counter, observing life around it.

 My name is Cecilia I'm an apple! I'm ruby red and i'm sweet as can be! I hate it when worms think they can wiggle their ways into my core! =(

I love my home it's a big warm hand woven basket. All my life i get to stay with my brothers and sisters!! <3 I have the best view in the kitchen!!! I can watch the owners prepare meals and watch the little tikes run around the kitchen leaving muddy footprints everywhere !  I hate it when my owners make desert because they always make the American favorite........... APPLE PIE!!!!!! It's very evil of them to skin them then chop them up and bake them !!!!!! Trust me the apples have gone to waste !!! My favorite time of the day is when Tommy (the teenage brother) comes in to watch videos on you tube instead of doing his homework!!!! The first video he always watches is scary!!!!! It's called the kitchen intruder song !!!!!!!!!!!! Oh gosh i hope i never meet that annoying orange guy!!!  So the family is eating dinner and it has been a regular day so far but oh no mom's making apple pie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! =(

Reading Response: The Battle of Jericho BY: Sharon  M.

This is my first time reading this book and it is already interesting !!

I was originally going to read this book with my fellow classmates but they all voted against it.. So, on my last trip to the library i picked it up!! The novel starts with ; The Beginning of The End. Here they randomly start to talk about an elite high school society called The Warriors of Distinction. This society requires the boys to do degrading tasks. In this book the warriors refer to the pledges as "pledge slime". the tasks that these"pledge slime"had to do were horrendous!! one of the tasks that the warrior named Ryan shock had one of the boys do is to take off his boot and suck his big crusty toe!!!!!! The boy's name was Jericho. Jericho is only going through this pain and suffering to get the attention of Arielle the MOST popular girl in school!!! Arielle is very captivated by the warriors of distinction, so Jericho finds this as the perfect opportunity to win her over. But after getting a mouthful of crusty toe will Jericho continue??????

Book- The vampire Diaries- Vol. 1- Nightfall


CHAPTER 1-
There is a character by the name of ELENA . Elena has been re-birthed in her same body. She has lost the ability to , read, write , and talk. She has a caregiver named STEPHAN. Stephan has been trying to teach her to read and write but, they have been having a struggle with her temper. It's not just Elena's temper though she is half vampire.. But there is also a problem with Stephan.......... HE IS FULL VAMPIRE!!!!! His thirst for blood and his temper after nightfall prevent  him from giving her all the attention and care she needs. Soon, he leaves Elena with a melancholy letter from the cold, sad depths of his VAMPIRE heart......<3
Elena finds an interpreter to read the letter and soon finds what he has done!! Stephan has forgotten one very dangerous and very fatal thing about Elena though...... She can manifest into different spirits , objects , and people...... Will Elena control her anger or does Stephan have something coming????

What are some rules in your school or home that your teacher or parent is adamant about? Why do you think this is so??

My parents are adamant about not letting me keep my phone at night. Me and my mom have heard alot about how teens are tempted to do things on their phone at night! I don't like it but my mom is only trying to protect me so, THANKS MOM!!!!

I absolutely ABHOR milk. milk's odor makes my stomach churn! The thought of drinking something that came out of almost the same place as their urine is disgusting!! No matter how much processing they do, i still believe that all traces of urine have not been cleared. After watching the very detailed and graphic documentary called Food INC. I have seen how the milk is processed and it is not nearly enough! So, I would think twice before I picked up another carton of milk!!!
